RECOMMENDATIONS

  • When not in useand to ensure its longevity, we advise to store your pieces in a cotton garment cover (never in plastic) and in a dry and cool space.
  • In case of rain or snow, hang it up to dry and clean it delicately with a soft cloth to remove any stains.
  • Textiles are susceptible to the appearance of pulls caused by sharp objects such as fingernails, jewellery, zippers, etc., and should be avoided.
  • For denim, the fabric used has been traditionally or indigo dyed in order to give it its vintage aspect, which may lose colour and will evolve with time.
  • Dry cleaning is recommended on most products. Furs and leathers can be entrusted to a specialist. Please refer to care label in garment for specific cleaning recommendations.
  • Any home remedies or machine washing can severely damage the textile.

LEATHER PRODUCTS

Throughout the life of your product, you may notice a softening of the silhouette and the appearance of a natural patina. This evolution, along with the presence of natural aspects such as natural marks, wrinkles and veins, is expected and serves as proof of the uniqueness and authenticity of our products. Every impression leaves an indelible memory to be cherished forever.
To keep the shape of your product, it should not be repackaged. When not in use, it is best to store the product in the felt case provided with purchase in a ventilated area. Storage in drawers or near heat sources is not recommended as this has a drying effect on the materials.

GENUINE LEATHER

This natural vegetable tanned cowhide leather. The distinguishing feature of this leather is its transparency, which shows natural marks such as veins and wrinkles, proving that it has not been processed. This delicate, easily scratched leather will develop a rich amber patina, unique to each bag, and become even more elastic over time. This patina, along with wear and tear from use, testifies to the authenticity of the product and its journey with the owner.
If this leather comes into contact with water, blot it immediately with a lint-free, light-coloured absorbent cloth. Cleaning with any solvents or chemicals is not recommended. The use of home remedies for darkening the skin, such as mink oil, saddle soap, skin lotions, or any other substance, should be avoided at all costs. If the leather gets dirty before the patina appears, don't try to clean it. Let it darken and the spots will disappear among the color. These chemicals can compromise the quality and integrity of leather as it wears away over time.

CALFSKIN AND COWHIDE

Calfskin and cowhide are carefully selected for their refinement, suppleness and silkiness. To meet STNSLV highest quality standards, only the best skins are selected. They may have natural imperfections such as veins or wrinkles.
These carefully selected leathers can be compromised using any commercial cleaner. Items such as oils, cosmetics, perfumes, creams, or disinfectants applied to the skin can compromise its natural beauty and performance. Surface stains are recommended to be cleaned with a soft damp cloth moistened with water.

ADDITIONALLY

Any type of leather must be kept away from any materials that can transfer their color pigments to the leather (eg magazines, denim, other types of leather...). The risk of transmission may particularly affect small leather goods.
Avoid exposure to sunlight as the color may fade. Light colors are more sensitive to light and may turn yellow or fade.

IVF ICON

The STNSLV symbol expresses the Maison's values and heritage: authenticity, craftsmanship, excellence and luxury. It is inimitable and unique, created as a result of a painstakingly designed and impeccably executed process. Flexible and durable, it's perfect for modern lifestyles. Today, this iconic canvas is adorned with an exceptional print made to our exacting quality standards.
Coated canvas can be easily cleaned with a damp cloth and mild soapy water. Home remedies such as mink oil, perfumes, skin lotions, cleaners or chemicals should not be used on canvas products. The use of such products can lead to unfavorable and premature wear of the blade.
Contact with highly pigmented materials increases the risk of color transfer and should be avoided.

The production method is based on direct printing using innovative techniques to create complex and rich designs. STNSLV uses a variety of printing methods that are unique and selected specifically for each collection.
Each printing technique consists of thin layers of ink deposited on top. Such techniques allow complex patterns and colors to be created, but can be prone to abrasion and fading. This can occur with careful use in areas of greatest wear (such as corners, creases and bottoms).
To avoid such abrasion, limit contact with hard or rough surfaces (walls, carpets, concrete).
For cleaning, use a soft, damp cloth slightly dampened with soapy water, avoiding the printed parts. Home remedies such as mink oil, skin lotions, cleaners or chemicals should not be used on canvas products. The use of such products can lead to unfavorable and premature wear of the blade.

SUNGLASSES

STNSLV sunglasses are created with specially trained artisans in our ateliers with exclusive know-how. Crafted with cutting edge materials and fresh designs, your STNSLV sunglasses can be easily maintained.
While wearing your sunglasses, it is best not to place upon your head to rest, as this may cause a widening of the arms and an augmented fit. Please keep in mind, as you wear your sunglasses, the frame will naturally form to your unique face shape.
For storage, place inside the pouch and protective case provided at purchase in a cool, dry place. Storage in hot environments (cars, heaters, etc.) for prolonged periods can cause the frame to deform and is not recommended.
To clean your sunglasses, place under lukewarm water and gently dry and polish your lenses with the pouch provided at purchase. Lightly soapy water using mild dish detergent may also be used to remove residue from the lenses and frame.
